The road to becoming a professional writer began with my wanting to be just like Hildy Johnson in His Girl Friday and ended… Well, it hasn’t ended yet. It is, after all, about the journey!

And what a journey it has been: Executive Editor and co-owner of EXTRA Bilingual Community Newspapers in Chicago; Communications Director for Mayor Daley’s Office of Employment and Training; public relations consultant for non-profits; educational resource developer; developmental editor for books; blogger, content writer, travel writer and photographer.
